President Obama will sign an executive order this morning aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions generated by the federal government, which will include Robins AFB. The White House has said that several “major” government suppliers plan to make pledges to cut their GHG emissions. After signing the executive order, the President will head to the Energy Department to tour its rooftop solar panels and attend a discussion with government suppliers about their emissions reduction targets and disclosing their emission figures.
